| Metallica, the well known trash metal band, will be joining the Hall of fame this year! Important names on the hall of fame are the Black Sabbath and Sex Pistols. I guess thats a great advantage for the band and a nice new for all the fans out there -including me - Keep on rocking | |

| Rock n Roll Hall of Fame? I'm pretty sure Metallica is metal. But I might be wrong. Oh well. | |

Maiden are the biggest metal band in history Well, I love Maiden but it's fact that Metallica have seven grammies, five CONSECUTIVE albums at No.1 in the billboard 200, the album named 'Metallica' sold over 15 million copies in the US, and 22 million copies worldwide, which makes it the 25th highest selling album in history. The band has sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide as of the release of their latest album Death Magnetic. As of September 2008, Metallica is the fourth highest-selling music artist since the SoundScan era began tracking sales on May 25, 1991, selling a total of 51,136,000 albums in the United States alone. Iron Maiden released their newest studio effort in 2006 entitled A Matter of Life and Death peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold in the UK. As one of the most commercially successful heavy metal bands of all time, Iron Maiden have sold more than 70 million albums worldwide, without significant mainstream or radio support. The band won the Ivor Novello Awards for international achievement in 2002, and were also inducted into the Hollywood RockWalk in Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California during their tour in the United States in 2005. Their influences include Thin Lizzy, UFO, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Wishbone Ash. I know it's not all about selling albums, but that plays a big part in a band's fan base.

| See guys, winning Grammies doesn't make a band better. I still hope DF won't win. | |

Well, as one member said on this forum (can't remember who it was), Dragonforce won't really care about the grammies: they are one of those bands that just does their stuff, and moves on. But I think the haters will care, and yes, that gives them another reason to bash them: but overall, if a band gives one or not about grammies, it is ALWAYS a very highlighted part of your career if DF would eventually win one.

| Well I don't know when Metallica started winning Grammies but it's a fact, that their music got worse by every album. | |
