| Five years in the making...perhaps even more.
Jari Mäenpää of Wintersun has cancelled all of Wintersun's 2009 concert dates to focus heavily on mastering and completing "Time", the announced second album of the atmospheric Melodic Death Metal band, Wintersun.
Jari (a former member of Ensiferum) has suffered through technical problems and file losses through the production of Time, but he continues to work heavily on it.
He has stated that several of the songs have as much as 80+ tracks on them.
The album starts with a majestic 4 minute intro, appropriately titled "Intro".
Then, off we go to Track 2, the 14 minute epic revealed to many a lucky concertgoers' ear as "Sons of Winter and Stars"
Every song on this album, with the exception of 3, is rumoured to exceed or reach at least 10 minutes in length.
I eagerly await this album, for Wintersun's debut in itself managed to rise to my favorite album of all time, making this band ONE to watch for.
