sorry i'll just jump in here
unia gets a lot of negative comments on youtube
like someone said 'caleb' was an emo song
the album wasnt like early sonata but still great in its own way i think

It is great, and since when does making a heartfelt song thats important to you make it emo. Emo's a personality trait not a sub genre of anf musical style.

Superb band with many nice songs. My favourites must be: "The Ruins Of My Life" and "Ain't Your Fairytale".

Sonata Arctica was the band that really got me into metal.. And more importantly: Power metal! The first song I heard of them was "Tallulah". But later, I fell in love with "End of this Chapter", "Letter to Dana", "Black Sheep"... And if I keep listing the Sonata songs I love, I'll just mention them all..

I fell in love with SA when I heard the insane intro to "Wolf and Raven" I didn't like their ballads at first but they grew on me.(Especially "Shy" and "Sing in Silence")

Sorry to hear that, catch the next chance you can, never feel overconfident that tickets will be there for you, buy it when you can buy it. I myself have only seen them twice.

SA was the 1st one from power metal for me too. It was actually my current gf who suggested it.. She put Winterheart's Guild to my hand and said "listen to that and your whole life will change". And, I can say that was totally true. Sonata is just... well words can't describe it. My favorite songs are: Land Of The Free, Don't Say A Word, Unopened, Black Sheep, Shamandalie, Tallulah, Wolf And Raven 2008, Misplaced, The Cage and Victoria's Secret (damn every song from SA is my favorite, there are just a few:D) I can't live without music. Impossible without metal.

I wonder who else agrees that "The Harvest" is the most kickass from Unia. It's got some fairly tricky drum technique, and I like the "Spy mission-esque" Guitar Solo.

Yes... The Harvest, Caleb and Paid In Full are probably the 3 best songs from Unia. My favourite on Unia is Caleb... But I agree The Harvest is one of the more technical on the album...
