| I know this is a rather old topic now but hell, this particular subject has always been something of great interest to me in terms of Power Metal in general. Ultimately, I said "fantasy and mythology" as this - by personal preferance - is a great draw for me Albeit, I'd agree with the other options too  Either way, all of these themes are very prevalent in PM, especially in bands such as HammerFall with their obvious connection to the Holy Crusades and legends  | |
