Already posted this over in my intro post, but I'm going to see Dragonforce/Turisas/Powerglove in Atlanta, Georgia this Friday.

yeah I went to see them in manchester on the 26th september. it was simply awesome. they are amazing live. here's a couple of tips:

Get there early and get to the front - catch those autographed guitar picks thrown at you! i caught five in manchester!

Go for a slash as often as possible - you might just catch one of the band members in there with you! lol.

If you are at the front talk to them - the good thing about them is they talk to almost everyone at the front.

Yeah I'll get there like an hour before the show. Or two I don't know. What do you recommend?

And I don't think I would be able to talk to them since I'm not very loud but the music is.

Fortunely, I bought my tickets online, and after you pick 'em up, you can go in. (Otherwise you have to wait in line outside the building.) So getting their that early is a moot point. Which is good since one of the guys that is going gets out of class at the last minute before I planned to leave. (Well, the latest that I wanted to leave.)

yeah, definitely. book tickets online.

Oh I have an idea! Why not write concert dates/places&stuff in the calendar?

Just got back from the concert. Other than a really small turnout, it was great! I was worried about Powerglove, but they turned out to be awesome. Gonna have to pick up their cd(s). At the end of Dragonforce's set, all the guitarists & the key border formed a half circle, and had one hand on their instruments, and the other on the person's across from them playing both.....Finished the song like that. (Song was Vally of the Damned if I'm not mistaken.)

Well, I won't be able to speak for a month, but it was a helluva good concert.

i wish i could see them too. you are so lucky

if your going to a dragonforce concert, definitely book your tickets online, and get there early. i can almost guarantee you will get to the front.
