Best Power Metal Singer

The title said it best...

My choice is Tony Kakko of SonatAArctica!!

Mr. Sammet gets my vote.

Kakko, because I relate to him a lot.

it was a toss-up for me between Roy Khan and Joacim Cans, I love Kai Hansen as a musician above all the others, however his vocals cannot match these two.

I finally decided to vote for Joacim Cans. His timber and vibrato are near-perfect. Khan is technically better, but he's not as 'metal' as Cans.

Also, nice poll and good list of heavy-hitting power metal vocalists However you may want to add Mathias Blad of Falconer, he is extremely talented and among the best of the list.

Good point. Theart is a good singer, but most of the others are leagues above him. However, I'm not sure why so many people hate Theart as a singer xD

I think he's annoying.
He's good, but his sound just crackles with the tickle of annoyance.

Guess it all depends on what notes the particular person's ears are more sensitive too.

However I seem to enjoy almost all forms of vocals since I started to listen to melodeath on top of power metal xD

Me and Alex drove most of them away pretty much.

Not only Hansi Kursh is one of the best technically, but I love his "bardish" voice so much. Unique.

I vote for Hansi Kürsh (Blind Guardian).

Oh I didn't even notice that Kürsch was not listed here... Why? He is for me at the same level as Kakko and Sammet...

Yeah I added Broden to my other nominee cause I like his voice very much. But I voted for Sammet.
