But if I HAD to pick, Megadeth.
Metallica is bland, James Hetfield annoys me, Kirk is overrated, Lars is a dick and is a worthless drummer (he is a good Tennis player however), and the only members I actually never insulted were the bassists, Cliff, Jason, and Rob.
Megadeth however was created with the mindset to BEAT Metallica, not mainly for the Music, but for Dave Mustaine's musical-peen to grow in size by attempting to be better than a band that kicked him out because the members of the previous band were too much of conservative pussies to handle a little bit of Mustaine antics.
At least Megadeth had Marty and now have Chris, and modern Mustaine is not the feud-seeking twit that he was of past. | |

| megadeth for sure but only because metallica have screwed up with St. Anger and Death Magnetic. They have become a mainstreem band who only cares about money. Still i love master of puppets and ride the lightning albums more than every Megadeth song | |

| Megadeth without a doubt, I can't vote anymore, that's sad... As someone pointed out earlier, even tho Mustaine first created Megadeth (and MD .45  ) to "destroy" Metallica, right now, he doesn't really care anymore, and he really has a nice working ethic if you ask me... And as someone else pointed out, Metallica is dead now, their fame is behind while Megadeth still have a couple of great years ahead IMO | |
