| Okay there's this HUGE article in Kerrang! this week, and it's my biggest 'news cast' on the forums ever Unfortunately there is no Power Metal, since well, it's not the most popular type of metal. Note: The albums are not in order. Some better than others, but there is no order. The 'My Opinion' bit is MY opinion. That was not in Kerrang!. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Albums of 2009: Band: My Chemical Romance Album Title: TBC Album Due: TBC Album Number: Four Follow Up To: The Black Parade, 2006 My Opinion: Sucks ass. Band: Hot Leg Album Title: Red Light Fever Album Due: January 19th Album Number: 1 Follow Up To: My Opinion: Never heard of the band. Band: Muse Album Title: TBC Album Due: Autumn Album Number: No Idea lol. Follow Up To: No Idea lol. My Opinion: I don't listen to much Muse. Good band I'm aware, but not my type of stuff. Band: Lacuna Coil Album Title: TBC Album Due: March/April Album Number: No Idea lol. Follow Up To: No Idea lol. My Opinion: None. Band: Rancid Album Title: TBC Album Due: February Album Number: No Idea lol. Follow Up To: No Idea lol. My Opinion: None. Band: Deftones Album Title: Eros Album Due: Spring Album Number: No Idea lol. Follow Up To: No Idea lol. My Opinion: None. Band: Greenday Album Title: TBC Album Due: April Album Number: No Idea. Follow Up To: Bullet In A Bible, 2006 My Opinion: Used to be into a lot of Greenday. At one point I'd thought they had splitten up: They just seemed to fade. I think Kerrang! kept them alive by putting them on their 'Songs Of The Year' album. Band: Aiden Album Title: TBC Album Due: May Album Number: 4 Follow Up To: Conviction, 2007 My Opinion: None. Band: Biffy Clyro Album Title: TBC Album Due: TBC Album Number: 5 Follow Up To: Puzzle, 2007 My Opinion: I like one song. That is 'Mountains'. But for some reason, I genuilly think this band may go a long way. Band: Lamb Of God Album Title: Wrath Album Due: February 23rd Album Number: No Idea lol. Follow Up To: No Idea lol. My Opinion: Sex On Fire gets on my nerves a lot. Not my sort of stuff. Band: Mastodon Album Title: Crack The Skye Album Due: March 9th Album Number: Four Follow Up To: Blood Mountain, 2006 My Opinion: Epic Band: Slayer!!!! Album Title: TBC Album Due: Autumn Album Number: Ten Follow Up To: Christ Illusion, 2006 My Opinion: Slayer FTW!!!! Epic Band Band: Billy Talent Album Title: III Album Due: Summer Album Number: No Idea lol. Follow Up To: No Idea lol. My Opinion: None. That's all for now. Highlights in this part: Slayer, Mastodon, Green Day, Muse. | |

| I'm stoked about a new Lacuna Coil cd, and yeah the My Chem is probably gonna be a whiny whine fest, Lamb of God is aggrevating as hell, Rancid and Green day are gone, but the Mastodon and Slayer should be (read; hope) good. Thanks for the updates TC | |

| Well, this year I'm looking forward to...
Alestorm \m/ Exumer \m/ Lacuna Coil \m/ Lamb of God \m/ Wintersun \m/ Masodon \m/
Slayer = Overrated because of Guitar Hero, after Seasons in the Abyss, Slayer were just Groove Metal, but boring as hell.
Wintersun is the most epic of all bands ^^ Can't wait for that one!
Lawlz, Metal Hammer >>> Kerrang. I'm getting the new MH Issue next week i think, i'll list what they say.
Btw, Iron Maiden may be releasing one next year too, so watch out for that one.
Best place to look for upcomming albums would be Metal Storm, so check that out. ^^

Well, that is kinda sad. What do you boot-leg everything. Anyway, how do you support your favorite bands if not buying there albums.

I enjoy live shows and it is a great way to support your favorite bands, but I also really enjoy owning the cd's. I like the artwork, lyrics book's and any other cool stuff you can get from buying the cd's (like video's and special offers). And (I may not be correct on this) I've always though that artists get more money off cd sales than touring. (Isn't a tour a cd promotion trip anyway?) Note: Lacuna Coils cd Karma Code came with a little mini-poster. (Shit like that)

It's a Documentary/Movie showing them on tour and stuff. Dunno the full details on it yet but it's coming out to cinemas. Sorta like Metallica's "Some Kind of Monster", only "Flight 666" (Iron Maiden's) won't be a piece of shit. It should be good. ^^

| Slayer, Alestorm and Iron Maiden must be my highlights! But I've just looked at the Wikipedia-page, and I'm stunned New albums from Cannibal Corpse, 1349 (look at my avatar ), Kalmah, Killswitch Engage, Kiss, Nile, Scorpions, and many more! :fakehorns: AND: Luca Turilli (Rhapsody Of Fire guitarplayer) have said: "A new album, a real masterpiece of Speed/Epic Metal, is already composed and ready to be recorded and after its release an immense worldwide tour will finally follow for yours and our extreme satisfaction"... The only problem is that RoF is in a "hard legal fight" with Magic Circle Music, so all further actions have been paused | |
