Norwegian black metal about vikings: sounds all-to-normal eh?
Think again, this is probably some of the best black metal I've ever heard. I heard 2 songs from their 1184 album and immediately purchased it. I was not disappointed.
Sadly, the leader and founder of the band 'Valfar' has since passed away, it's unlikely we'll see anything more from Windir.
