A different approach to folk metal. Whilst most focus on Scandinavian themes and sounds, Melechesh from Israel focuses on Mesopotamian/Sumerian themes and of course, middle-eastern folk sound! The band is the only one on my top 10 that are extremely unknown.
Melechesh - Deluge of Delusional Dreams
Melechesh - The Scribes of Kur
Melechesh - Ladders to Sumeria
Melechesh - Triangular Tattvic Fire

very interesting, also cool to see bands from the middle-east - as that is the last place you'd expect to see metal fans ;D
