| I know we have some europeans on this forum, so I though Id ask; do you actually hear power metal on the radio? Or any kind of heavy metal for that matter. You certainly don't in the US, at least not in Michigan. | |

| sounds about the same as US radio, then. Whatever happened to music, anyway? It's like music just gets worse and worse overall as time goes on. I wonder if they played metal back in the 80's... | |

| I know Alabama radio sucks. There's apparently one station that plays afew good songs, but whenever I turn it on, nothing good is on. There's a station in Florida that's real good. I turn that on whenever I go. (I forget what it is now, though.) I just keep my mp3 player on all day. | |

Lucky. The only way to get metal over here is on satellite radio, but even then there isn't any really good stuff on...

| Sometimes if I'm lucky, I can catch a good rock song on the Radio. But mostly it's all this cheesy mainstream pop and rap stuff. Thankfully, I have Direct TV so I can get all the satellite radio | |

| Well, here in the UK, some nights Bruce Dickinson hosts a Metal Radio show on BBC Radio 1 i think.
3-5 hours of pure Metal and interviews.
Other than that I don't bother with radio but i think you all should try Shoutcast.com for some Metal streams. There must be over 200 streams with metal.

Yea, Viva la Vida has been played to death at this point. Satellite radio is the only way to go.
