Which one is the best Thrash Metal band?
Me and Rokai are kinda fighting about it. Rokai favours Megadeth, while I favour Slayer.
(Come on, guys! Vote for Slayer )

Ups! I forgot to make a "Other?" choice. If you favours one that is not on the list, just write it as a reply. Sorry
And I spelled "Trash" wrong (Thrash) -.-

I'm sorry but Megadeth ownz!!! *Sighs* The terribly overrated Slayer. Slayer have some good stuff but c'mon, there's no variety, they get monotonous.
I saw them at Download '07 and they confused "Angel of Death" with "War Ensemble"! LOL. Both are great, I'll admit. But Megadeth are just too awesome! Better riffage too. Mustaine makes riffs that you'd expect to hear in a lead solo. ^^
Anyway, I blame guitar hero for all the kids overrating bands like Slayer and Metallica. ^^

I love Slayer, and I've never played Guitar Hero before!
I'm pretty awesome at Frets On Fire though

Warbringer.
Never ceases to bore me. Big Four of thrash bore me over time. Warbringer brings a bit more aggression and power to the table for me. Plus, I like John Kevill's tortured vocal styles

Perhaps. I still don't like them Too overrated, and Hetfield is weak, Lars is an ass, and both are horrible compared to others around the 80s. Also, Kirk Hammett is the MOST overrated piece of shit i've ever heard of, fuck, Satriani was doing way more technical and melodic shit than him around the same period, to think Hammett was taught by Satch is almost an atrocity, what can you do? At least I respect their influence.

Metallica are getting old now. Not much that would last the decade. But still, after 27 years, the capability of the band I believe is as good as anything these days. There's an old saying: - You don't have to be big to be good.
But you MUST be good to be big. -
Look where Metallica are. They don't 'suck', and overrated? 27 years of gut busting hard work, they at the least have to be one of the most respected bands on the planet.

27 years of hard work? Minus 20 LOL! They only worked hard up until Justice, then it's as if they quit. At least if they continued that for 20 years then they in my books would be considered 'good'.
Iron Maiden, 35 years of hard work and still they write great stuff and put on an amazing live show.
