Nightwish

i really like the male singer in nightwish, aswell as playing the guitar, he has quite a voice and i'm sure he could be the frontman for a band if he wanted to

he sings a lot in this song 'Bye Bye Beautiful'

you probably all know this one

yea and they're LEAD singer isn't to bad.
and her singing isn't that bad either

I actually don't like female singers.

the singer for nightwish is good
in her own way

I like older Nightwish. The Bye Bye Beutiful single found its way onto my Zune, and I CAN'T STAND IT!
If you ask me, Anette Olzon ruined that band.

i agree. anette's weak vocals changed the whole style of nightwish. and of course we will never hear the old good songs like everdream, nemo , i wish i had an angel live

I agree Anette is diffirent from Tarja
But Anette sings awesome! And so does Tarja...

They are just... diffirent...

I actually like them both

its funny coz ive never seen an all female metal band. and nightwish arent bad at all. the heavy riffs at the start of that song were great.

No (t)it's (sorry for the bad joke) just that the vocals don't give me that Power Metal feeling. More like an opera.

But I see what you are saying. I would agree to some extent.

He's in a band called Tarot, they're a Finnish Power Metal Band and he's been an icon of Finnish Metal for about 20 years. Nightwish are fantastic too (With tarja)

nightwish are awesome. i don't care which singer they have, they're still awesome :\m/:

NIghtwish rule! they are my favorite band so far . i know that many fans dont like them anymore because of Anette but i believe she will be a lot better in the future. However i have to admit prefered Tarja instead of Anette but a great band like Nightwish will not fade away like this, only because of their new singer.

Yeah, Nightwish rule, I saw them at Bloodstock last year, they were great.

oh you were quite lucky. the only time they have come here was at 1st October when Anette was the singer and she is actually horrible when she sings Tarja's songs so i didnt go. well maybe another time. By the way my name is Maria nice to meet you

and I agree that she is not great with Tarja's songs, but the Dark Passion Play songs rule..

yeah they are ace...

I like all the Dark passion play album...

and with Tarja- Over the Hills, Wishmaster, Ever Dream, Nemo and all the other classics.

I don't think there is one track on it that I don't like to be honest..

i like every song in the album too. the only song i dont hear very much is Eva.

It quite a cool song, nice and slow.. always good to have one or two slow tracks on an album..
