What's so bad about Yu-Gi-Oh? The anime? Well actually that did suck but the card game is good. Just like Pokemon: anime=suck game=good

I Shouldn't hate, I play Magic The Gathering. I just always thought yu gi oh and pokemon were kinda kiddy is all. But I've got friends that play all of them.

Well in a way Yu-Gi-Oh is like Magic The Gathering and Pokemon is like Final Fantasy. At least the game mechanics are the same.
I don't know why people think Pokemon is childlish. Monsters fighting each other doesn't seem kiddy to me. It's an RPG with a turn-based battle system just like FF but instead of being a group of humans you control one human who tames monsters. Okay, these monsters have funny names and sometimes look cute but they can still fight.

Also the sounds those monsters make are sometimes a bit kiddy.

Usually monsters make roaring noises, which the legendary pokemon do, but have you heard the sound what Pikachu makes?

Somebodies voice hasn't broke.

Again, they don't havevoices in the game only some 8-bit noise. But some of them actually sound good. Like Nidoking's sound. That's one of the reasons I like that Pokemon. The other is that he can learn many types of moves. But who am I talking to...

i play pokemon too when im bored. the gameplay is good because there are many things to do. the voices though break my nerves. when you encounter the same pkmn on each battle it gets annoying after a while

Your talking to all of us Rokai, I'll let you in on a little secret, the first pokemon I ever heard of was my friend had the game and I played that. I though it was a really sweet kinda fast paced rpg and didn't think of a kiddy aspect because it was on the Game Boy and all Game Boy games around this time looked kinda kiddy because of the outdated craphics. It wasn't until I saw the cartoons or something like that that I noticed it really did look kinda kiddy. Truth be told our definition of kiddy really doesn't apply to this at all. The Japanese don't consider it kiddy due to its cartoonish appeance, many adult gamers play Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh in Japan. It just doesn't have the darker themes we associate with an "adult" game in the rest of the world. Well I'm off to play some Magic.

Well to be honest I don't play horror games. Watching a movie is good but playing a game is just boring. But that's my opinion.
