yeah i saw that on my subscriptions video's thingy that was awesome. great song choice since since it was quiet and we got time to remember the metal gods rather than have 'the trooper' or 'run to the hills' blasting through our speakers lol.

i typically don't listen to music that is as old as i am, mostly because it usally lacks relavance in my life.. but the iron maiden is timeless i suppose, especially the older stuff. after 20 years of popularity its hard to keep the fuel that drives younger less popular bands(ie metallica and others) all in all really good vid with great song selection, congrats

I do because the age of the music doesn't make it bad. Some old metal is really good.

my favorite metal band of the 80's is hands down Helloween, they practically invented pure power metal (Maiden only pioneered it a little )
I respect Iron Maiden for sure, and like a few of their songs, but they're (i hate to say it) a little too slow for me :/ Now, Helloween, hohoho; it is the shit as far as the 80's is concerned. Also enjoy 80's malmsteen (not his later stuff though) :o

Best 80s band for me is Bathory. I can't say Dream Theater or Therion, because even though they started in the 80s, their career is best known for the 90s and the new millenium.

Iron Maiden has a few quick songs, but by slow i mean their overall tempo is straight up NWOBHM...which is usually slow in comparison to Helloween inspired bands ;D
