Yeah, surprised I've not seen this one up yet. They formed in 1985 and this is the male vocalist from Nightwish "Marco Hietala" Original band, they're still around but he's put them on hold to play with Nightwish a bit, i think. Their last album was a live album out this year so they're still very much active. Great band i think.

theyve got a bit of a metallica feel to them. they also in my opinion have a battle metal feel.

Hell yeah, for me, especially the ending for "Slaying the Dreamer". That song was awesome!
And yes Tarot are awesome and 'Marco Hietala' is also in a Cover project called "Northern Kings" where he sings with Tony Kakko and a couple other selected band frontmen.

No doubt Tarot is one of the greatest bands from here, Finland. They are one of the founders of Finnish metal, The Hietala Bros, Marco and Sachary (or Zachary, or Sakari in Finnish). It is still one of the many projects of Marco, he is still creating music with them. My favorite songs from Tarot are: Wings Of Darkness, Ashes To The Stars, Undead Son, Rider Of The Last Day and Do You Wanna Live Forever.

Tarot is awesome. My favorite album is Suffer Our Pleasures (true masterpiece). Marco really has a distinct and awesome voice.
