X Japan rocks. Still though, J-Metal is strange to me, which I like sometimes.
I still think J-jazz is the best stuff they've unleashed upon us. :3

Have never heard J-jazz before. Can you recommend me an artist or two? (am trying to broaden my musical boundaries and J-jazz happens to be something I've never heard before so 2 flies with 1 stone or something like that)

Well i'll give you 2 jazz bands in one stone.
Casiopea and T-Square are pretty classic but they're quite impressive when they play together.

I only like one song of them which is called Rusty Nail but generally the band is good. I cant say that i would listen to them non-stop though
