O.o No one has even given them a thread (or i couldn't find an existing topic) yet but come on, I think Sabbath deserve that. Hail to the Godfathers of Metal I define them with 2 eras, Ozzy and Dio.

just epic! they need to be respected. to me they even reach the glory of Iron Maiden. By the way did you know that Paranoid was recorded in order to fill the remaining disc space? The band had never intented to release such a song. Only to think that it turned out that great makes you think how hilarious and awesome things may result sometimes.

Well I wouldn't call them as good or successful as Iron Maiden anyway, but they definitely deserve their spot and a "Hail" as the Godfathers of Metal.
Oh, and yes I knew about the whole Paranoid filler, it is funny

They are awesome my second favorite band. I like Dio era best but everything they did was pretty good.
