What is the meaning of life?

you pick the hardest one to start us off. I, myself can not contemplate what started the big bang or whatever non religious theory is given....

Life is a sequence of complex chemical reactions that take place everytime you breath, move or do anything with your body. These reactions stop when you die.

While it doesn't actually have a definite meaning yet, you can assign yourself one - find something you love and do it for the rest of your life.

oh well in context of what the purpose of your life is then I should say it is to enjoy your life without destroying other life unneccesarily, and to respect life as a whole.

Back before I was a metal fan I would look upon extreme music fans as the most barbaric and uncaring kind of people. But it is amazing how much a lot of metal fans care for nature.

as for the meaning of life....ive been thinking about it when i was bored at school and in my opinion there is nothing better than living your life to the fullest while respecting and helping others among the way.

Without getting too much into religion or non-religion, I will post.
Once on the History Channel, I heard the meaning of life could be to have more beginnings than endings. While this may or may not be the best, it is something good to live by.

Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations. And, finally, here are some completely gratuitous pictures of penises to annoy the censors and to hopefully spark some sort of controversy, which, it seems, is the only way, these days, to get the jaded, video-sated public off their fucking arses and back in the sodding cinema. Family entertainment? Bollocks. What they want is filth: people doing things to each other with chainsaws during tupperware parties, babysitters being stabbed with knitting needles by gay presidential candidates, vigilante groups strangling chickens, armed bands of theatre critics exterminating mutant goats. I actually think the meaning differs from person to person. Therefore it being subjective or relative or something like that. Some people might think having a normal life (getting married, having kids, stuff like that) might be the meaning of life, some people might think preserving the human race is the meaning of life, some might even think the meaning of life is to end all life as it is. That's why I personally believe it's just a matter of opinion, as there is no simple rule of life and how it should be.

Yep it's a thing that everyone decides as they think it should be. No idea to compete about it.
