the video to 'heroes of our time' disappointed me when it came out

i mean, look at the video for 'OGAP'

it was epic, had mountains, fire and all sorts of stuff

heroes of our time didn't really have that (good song though, don't get me wrong)

but 'the last journey home' could be one hell of a video :D hopefully

PMLO: Heroes of Our Time's video is not that bad. I really like those effects when they show the band. And the video is in complete consonace with the song.

i just hope they dont shorten it. the last journey home is one of the longest songs by them at around 8 and a quarter min. theyd have to cut 3 min if they were making the vid like they did with the other three.

but just imagine how epic that music video will be, especially if its full length

this guy makes a really good point about dragonforce haters and proves all of them wrong. the one that made me think 'oh yeah!' the most was in the first video when he talks about the lyrics. he compares cannibal corpse's lyrics to dragonforce's. he takes one song from each band, he takes fury of the storm from dragonforce and some other song from cannibal corpse. the lyrics in cc are all about death, and murder. then he speaks the fury of the storm chorus:

Into the fires of forever, we will fly through the heavens
with the power of the universe we stand strong together
through the forced of power, it will soon reach the hour
for victory we ride, fury of the storm.

I mean, as humans, we dont want to be reminded about death, unless your emo. and thats why i dragonforce's lyrics and how they blend them with the music inspires me.

Quite right TCJacko. The first thing I ever noticed about DragonForce (ok, besides the mad-crazy guitar playing ) was the lyrics. I said "hey, these guys sound happy". I find in nice that metal can be made from more cheerful things than death. All power metal has that in common to some point, as he said.

My favorite band of all time... my favorite part is the vocals (surpsingly, I know, don't flame meh). Inhuman Rampage and Sonic Firestorm I'll admit don't have much depth to them (songs sound similar), but even then, the songs in those two albums sound more unique than say modern day crappy rock bands or the crappiest of power metal.

We also like power metal so we won't flame.
And you're half right about them some SF and IR songs sound quite similar to each other.

I noticed that today as well!

It's that stupid Warner Bros nutters at it again. They are in war with YouTube to take out just about every bands music videos due to copyright terms. Metallica have already gone as well, but don't worry, RoadRunnerUk and RoadrunnerAustralia still have Heroes Of Our Time.

I might just take the p*** and upload dozens of the same Dragonforce music videos off myspace.
