| Okay I just felt like posting a new topic since I haven't for a while. On YouTube, Herman Li himself actually shows you how to do most of the amazing noises they use in Inhuman Rampage. But here are some I made up:
The 'Evil' Noise:
1st string, first fret. Give your string a hard pick just between the pickup closest to the fretboard, and the fretboard. This will give you an epic ping sound. Then, after you pick, slide up the fretboard slowly, and whammy at the same time. This should give you a cool witchy sound.
The Fire Engine/Alarm Noise:
Use the first string for this, and use a high fret. My favourite is fret 16. Just pick the first string hard, and whammy. Sounds pretty much like an alarm. If it doesn't and yours is tuned differently to my Ibanez GSR190JE, try different frets.
The Motorbike (just figured it out):
finger pick an open sixth string. keep whammying up and down slowly and make it sound like a motorbike noise. you then might want to do make it skid and crash by whammying the first string with your highest fret (mine being 22). g.
The Dive Bomb noise, the Elephant Noise, Pac-Man, Ghost and Motorbike are all on Herman Li's video.
Just thought you might be interested in playing some of those. Anyways, see what you think. Submit some of your own awesome noises so I can try them.

| My favourite is called "The Dreaded Sixth Fret On The Immortal D String"
Anyway, the motorbike song is used in the first minute of Heartbreak Armageddon, and then the lyrics start with "Highway". Pretty nice. | |
