Love 'em. Serj's solo album, Elect the Dead, is really good too. (If you haven't seen the video for the title song, you need to. It's one of the more powerful ones I've ever seen.) Scars on Broadway (The other side project, but I forget who's it is.) is decent. Not wonderful though.

I don't understand some of you people. Seriously. Nu-Metal? It makes me cringe when I hear "Nu-Metal" & "System of a Down" in the same sentence. See? I just cringed. xD Clean your ears out, it's far from Nu-Metal. They were only labeled Nu-Metal because they formed and got big at the time that Nu-Metal was big.
Anyway, great band, were kickass live and now I can only hope for a reunion. ^^

They may be popular, but they sure as hell aren't overrated. They don't get called a talented band at all. At least, I've never heard that about them once in my life. People just like their music, doesn't make them overrated because they're popular.
They're much better than DragonForce too, at least they could give one hell of a live show and while high. ^^ That's an extremely overrated band and probably they're the worst band of all time...oooh I said it.
No one asked you guys to comment on the thread if you don't like them. I even keep of the DragonForce threads now. If I wanted to, I would come up with 200 reasons they suck.

System of a Down is a stupid name? That's all you have against them basically? I think it's a great name for a band.
A stupid name for a band would be a band name with a persons name in it. Like Evan's Blue or some shit like that but System of a Down is great. Also, their songs believe it or not are well written, they may sound stupid at times but it's something political.

Why do you assume that you being a "Metalhead", is more intelligent than a "pop fan"? Being a "Metalhead" doesn't give you Über-intelligence. You can know what you are talking about if you're a fan of pop. That was comical really.
Yeah, when I called that guy more intelligent, I meant someone who knew what he was talking about rather than someone hating and not even giving a decent reason. I mean come on, "overrated" is a reason? "Band name" is a reason? LOL I think ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Metallica and Megadeth are overrated, and I still like them. I also think "The 69 Eyes", "Edguy" & "Queens of the Stone Age" have stupid names and of course like them.
The only one showing up less intelligent and raging right now is you jumping to conclusions and twisting what I say. I highlighted "Right now" because I figure you might jump to more conclusions.
