| Well, I like him. His first album "Portrait of an American family" is his best in my opinion. | |

| I can't stand him either for simple reasons actually:
1) He's just an arrogant douchebag who thinks because he's more famous than others, he should get way more privileges.
2) His music doesn't speak to me at all. Only song I remotely liked was the soundtrack for the first Resident Evil movie, and that was just because the end was pretty cool with the song.
And 3) Apperantly, he doesn't even know the words to his songs. I heard (when he was playing at Graspop 2009), he had to have a roadie hold a paper with the lyrics on it. I mean, how low can you go?

| That doesn't change that he's a good lyricist and I like some of his song meanings. It's a little guilty pleasure of mine, but I wouldn't hide that. - Quote :

Every celebrity is like that, then going by your logic every celebrity is an arrogant douchebag. - Quote :

Yeah, but then his music isn't for everyone anyway. Just like Power Metal isn't for everyone, Black metal isn't for everyone, Death Metal isn't for everyone and so on. - Quote :

Big deal, there are very few vocalists that are "real". I can name a handful. Lots of vocalists still have to read them. --- Anyway, he puts on a good show and can get a crowd going. He once had a chick to suck him off onstage

| 1) That may be but I've never (besides Haris Pilton) ever seen anyone of which the arrogance just dripped down from his face. He may be a great guy (I don't know him personally) but that's just an image I have of him. Not every celebrity is like that, lots of em are but atleast they deliver the goods. Ok, that doesn't give them the right to act like they do but atleast they have a sort of excuse (that's just my opinion)
2) Yeah, this one's purely, 100% my opinion (most of this post is)
3) I have never seen one before who had to read the lyrics off of a paper, held by a roadie before.
Those reasons may sound ridiculous or generic (couldn't come up with another, better word) but I hardly ever dislike an artist.

| I've always like Marilyn Manson, Antichrist Superstar is one of my favourite albums, but I will admit, that after Holywood he went downhill and imo has yet to fully recover. I saw him live a few weeks ago and he was quite good. Not as good as Rob Zombie though. | |
